The Economic Activity Coincident Indicator, just released, in March slightly adjusted, +2.2%YoY vs. 3MMA: +2.3%, however Private Consumption increased +2.6%YoY vs. 3MMA: +2.4%.

The Current Account Balance is consolidating in positive territory, +1.7% of GDP, last 12 months, record data, not just because Goods Balance is less negative, -9.1% of GDP, better than moving averages

Daily Economic Indicator – The DEI is adjusting but is mainly the Easter effect
The DEI, Daily observations and Weekly moving average, outperformed over the end of March and is now underperforming, but is mainly the Easter effect (last year, the Easter was April 9), as the DEI doesn’t adjust holydays.

CPI Portugal – March’s core CPI, +2.5%YoY in line, however Services, at 5%; are on the way up.
Summing up, inflation and core inflation in line with preliminary data, +2.3%YoY and +2.5%; respectively, however above figures recorded over the last 2 or 3 months.
